2018 (and 2017 too) was such a great year for music and for indie rock in particular, so much other bands that would have deserved a place in this Top 5 (Daughters, Bill Ryder Jones, Kathryn Joseph etc). Moaning has a special place (indeed, number one!) in my heart because in a single very first album they are reinventing Grunge & Dark Rock (or Cold Wave) at the same time. This album will never age, and every bit of it is great, killer songs from start to finish…
