Fun fact: when this album and band appeared out of the blue in 1991, among the shoegaze era bands and almost at the same time as the grunge and Nirvana, it was dismissed as a… non significant / almost bad album!!! Looking at this 29 years later it seems that rock journalism at the time was not so great at identifying what’s rock history and what’s not… First album though, and one which is including the best “hit” of their carreer “Son of Mustang Ford” but also some quieter songs that will be the trademark of all the great albums to follow up including last year’s “Future Ruins”
