My Bloody Valentine “Loveless” (1991)

Ta-Da! My shoegaze collection is nearing the end with this masterpiece entry. What else to say about “Loveless” that wasn’t already said. That having lived this period of time as a student I was lucky enough to have discovered My Bloody Valentine with “Isn’t Anything” in 1988, and then I waited 3 more years for this “Loveless” but in between and just after what a treat!!! Slowdive, Ride, Chapterhouse, Catherine wheel, Lush, Moose, The Boo Radleys and many more, the dream of shoegaze for a few years (and I saw most of them in concert at the time, even twice sometimes), so I consider myself and friends lucky, especially because shoegaze bands since then never topped these albums, sadly. Waiting for the new shoegaze era though. But for now “Loveless” and some other albums of these times are the best, by very very far…
