Godspeed You Black Emperor is one of my all-time favorite bands but this particular album created some of the best live moments of my life, both in Paris (Godspeed You Black Emperor were applauded for 20 minutes non stop before coming back for more, rarely do you see such a fan fervour – Nota: it was theoretically forbidden for them to play more because it was late and too noisy for the neighbourhood, which is why they took 20 minutes to come back) and in Barcelona (at Primavera festival where Godspeed You Black Emperor did suck down an approximate 40,000 people from all the other stages). A must have in any indie rock or post rock record collection
