I already know this is my preferred album this year, and we are only in June, what I didn’t know was that it would take me so long to absolutely love DIIV, loved their first album and the following ones, saw them live in Paris many years ago and it was all fine and beautiful, but this album is in my opinion a perfection reached, back to shoegaze of the 90’s (typical guitars, vocals, bass of this period), a bit gothic, a lot slowcore, all my preferred music types into one single album
