Belong’s “Common Era” is a masterpiece of shoegaze from 2011, so 20 years after My Bloody Valentine breakthrough, what an achievement! Knowing that this “Common Era” as not much in common by the way with any shoegaze past neither future masterpiece is making this album even more adventurous, important. A must have for shoegaze fans, which I am part of.
