Enter The Shadows Radio

In my last post, I mentioned that the best way to discover new and old gems was through Apple Music’s “Discovery Station”.

And yes, it is. But there was a time when college radio stations—and even some mainstream ones—had legendary DJs and killer programs. I’ll dive into that in another post.

For now, let me tell you about one radio station that’s still getting it right: Enter The Shadows. This is a station that’s 100% in sync with my taste—goth, dream pop, punk, dark electro, shoegaze, synthpop—spanning Brazil (origin country of Enter the Shadows), Russia, the US, Europe, and even France (I had no idea there was so much goth creativity there, and I’m French!). And when I say 100% my taste, I mean I never leave because of a song I don’t like. Even better? If you stream it through the website and AirPlay it to your system, it’s completely ad-free. A bliss. Like having a personal goth DJ at home.

Every other station—whether on streaming platforms or actual radio—always leaves me disappointed. Even goth rock playlists often miss it, either in selection or accuracy.

Now for some great news: Concertandvinyl is partnering with Enter The Shadows Radio! Starting next week, some of our reviews will be published on their website, entertheshadows.com.br. I couldn’t be happier—this station feels like a natural extension of the Concertandvinyl spirit.

Stay tuned!
