Soccer Mommy’s “Clean” is a so great “90’s style” indie rock album that it even made its way to mainstream radios here in France. But don’t get me wrong this is hopefully not the next Coldplay, first because Soccer Mommy is a girl band and secondly because the typical American cool/kind/real spleen music on this album is not made for the masses neither for the stadiums (by the way Soccer Mommy is so kind that she did play in front of a few fans at the “Balades Sonores” Paris record store a few months ago), better to listen to it around a fireplace at home, with family and friends though…
