Nirvana “Nevermind” (1991)

A classic, I was 18 years old, indie rock music was a huge part of my life, and for some of my friends it was so huge that they sold their Nirvana album as soon as MTV made it become big/gigantic (not indie rock anymore :-), as extreme as that), we were lucky indeed to be able to listen to the Nirvana concert in Rennes (France) live on radio 6 months before Nirvana became massively famous, and then we did dance on it during the monthly “Sonic Boom” (indie rock night at discos) in Nancy where we were students, or even in regular discos once Nirvana became famous, and yes we were partly wearing the Grunge shirts, and yes, among many other bands of the time (Pixies, Mudhoney, but also other indie rock style bands like Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Red House Painters and many more) Nirvana did change the way we look at rock history…
